My question concerns the ultimate good and evil battle of Revelation. It is an epic story, even surpassing the Super Bowl and BCS football games.

I recently gave a sermon on it at my prison ministry. It is not a book I have read thoroughly, but have examined it. My understanding is that it says Jesus will come as a savior, when evil and good are at the point of Armageddon in the Middle East. One inmate corrected me on this. I could not respond with specific Scripture. If someone knows it I would be very grateful to learn it.

Secondly, Revelation has broken down interpretations of the Millennium into three categories. The three interpreations are postmillennialism, premillennialism, and amillennialism. My preference is amillennialism, because first, postmillennialism requires it to come from today’s flawed church. Second, premillennialism is too literal. Why is Satan to be bound exactly one thousand years? The second revolt does not seem logical to me. Please explain.
Appreciate the responses. Still hope to hear more. Let the reader state his opinions, the approach does not have to involve theological terms, which may or may not be helpful.

Revelation addresses the biggest issues of our time. Can man rule himself? Why the endless wars? If there is no suprenatural powering coming or having control, what will happen on Earth?

The end of the Cold War really changed things. Since Communism was anti-religious and dictatorial, then it did seem to be an evil force that had to be contained. But now we might ask, who are the evil forces? After our horrible debacle in Iraq, what gives the United States the moral authority to dictate world policy? When Jesus arrives in Revelation 19, it says nothing of him carrying a United States flag?

These are some of the issues Revelation deals with. All responses, perspectives appreciated.

You know, putting the inmates in harm’s way before any of our boys. We wouldn’t be arming them with weapons or any vital intelligence, in case they were planning on going over to the other side. How the hell do you reform a death row inmate? Hello! They’re on DEATH ROW already! (Jesus.) Also it would eliminate tax dollars from feeding, clothing and housing these inmates. I guess the downside of it would be that a lot of folks would lose their jobs. I’d say keep Death Row prisons functioning with the older inmates. The ones that wouldn’t be able to run, walk, crawl. Resend the Death Row inmates who get injured while in the Service back to the Death Row prison. Doing that folks would be able to keep their jobs.

Just spit-balling here in Ca. This idea came to me ever since Arnold S. proposed taking millions/billions/trillions away from our Fire/Police, Hospitals, Schools, Medical Aid, ect., ect.
He’s already issued I.O.U.’s to folks here. Did you know that inmates on Death Row have a better heath plan than me or you. Some folks don’t have ANY AT ALL! They eat better than some of us. When’s the last time you went a week with having meat for dinner? The inmates get meat, please save the jokes for another time, 7-days-a-week! These people have raped, murdered innocent people yet they live like pampered babies inside with clean clothes, food, housing, and medicine at the ready. Something’s really wrong here when you see a man/woman/child begging for food, a warm blanket and/or medical attention while these animals are living it up. Boy, really makes you think.

When I was a tenager after I made my conformation in the catholic church I got into ministry.(music,retreats,testimonies,praise and worship,ect.) Now into my mid 20’s I am heaviley tattooed(covered neck and arms)
My tattos aren’t vulgur,maybe a little on the dark side,alot of skulls.
I would love to get back into ministry again but have never seen anyone with this many tattoos at retreats before.Is it possible to be acsepted by the church again?Are should I maybe minister towards halfway houses,prisons,rehabs,ect.?

I work in the correctional field watching convicts and I’m having problems at my job with a few people over me so who can i take the issues 2 if i have to go through the chain of command when they maybe the one im having the issues with.I’m being disrespected and being put down and harrasement in every possible way(not sexual) just abused for no reason.I get written up for no reason at all I have 2 work more while other officers do less.please someone help or should i talk to a lawyer I f i can’t get the top of the chains to listen 2 me?Its a shame when i have to be careful of the inmates and the staff too.
