The gentlemen she is encouraging the relationship with is an inmate/trustee with three years left on his sentence. I think this is tacky…what do you think?

I met a guy several months ago on a dating site. He is a christian man who has a prison ministry and 2 young children (he isn’t very young as he had his children at a older age). In the past few months that I have known him he has lost several accounts for his company (my guess is that he spent too much time with the *** offenders and ****** to pay attention to his job). I have had many issues myself although nothing criminal. He promised to help me find bancruptcy help many months ago but has done nothing and it’s almost too late now as my creditors are harassing me daily. He promised to help me with my bills but has done little and constantly complains about his expenses although he manages to live in a nice place, drive a luxury car, send his kids to an exclusive private school while paying a big portion of his income to his exwife in childsupport. He says he is going to help me get my hours at my work to make more money although hours are tight at work.
he has taken a month to even start helping me with a letter although it is useless since I am not the best employee although I try very hard, if the boss was going to give someone more hours, it would be my coworker who has been there much longer. Now this man said he is sorry he hasn’t gotten to the letter yet because he has taken on guardianship for some juveniele (not sure how to spell it) deliquent. If he can’t help me, why does he keep taking on more? what can I do to compete with all these criminals that seem to attract his attention? I can’t even have a friendship with him because he hardly ever has time to even call and say hi.

I have a serious credit card problem and am deliquent many months with collectors calling. I have a friend whom is aware of my situation. He is involved in prison ministries and actually believes that criminals just change and become good people after he leads them to God. I mentioned a concern about a *** offender (he molested 2 girls on 2 different occasions) who moved in where my daughter lives. She is a young teenager and my mom (whom she lives with) is concerned about her being out alone since he is considered high risk. I mentioned this concern to my friend and he said I have nothing to worry about because offenders never re offend (yeah right) and compared this *** offender’s problem with my overspending problem. I really don’t appreciate being compared to a *** offender. I think there are different degrees of sin and wrongdoing where he thinks they are all equal, for example, he says there is no difference if telling a white lie than there is murdering someone.
Let me add that the *** offender lives in the same apartment complex as my daughter, just accross the parking lot.
