Zorro asked:
At what point do we draw the line, or is the list of acceptable items that can be taken on a plane similar to what inmates can take into prison with them?
(I haven’t been on a plane since 9-11.)

I think so because if you poke someone with it really hard in the stomach, it might go through or something. Again, this is a very interesting question.

I have been living in the US for over 20 years, but grew up in the caribbean playing cricket. It is much more exciting than baseball. Went to a baseball game for the 1st time last year, boring. The best thing about cricket is that unlike baseball when you can pitch around the other teams best batsman, you cannot do that in cricket. So when you pay good money to see for example Manny, or Jeter or Bonds, bat and the other team pitches around them and you the fan are left frustrated, that never happens in cricket. Also you get to see all the best bowlers (pitchers) each team has to offer play in every game.

No paperclips are OK.
Last time I flew they were still allowing belts and shoelaces on the plane!
